Sawyer honored with prestigious Freshman Five Award from MassMutual
The MassMutual Financial Group recently announced that Charlotte Jane Sawyer of The Meltzer Group has received the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company’s (MassMutual) national Freshman Five award as one of its top five first-year agents. The award recognizes individuals who have achieved the highest levels of all-around sales and service performance in their first year representing MassMutual.
MassMutual has a field of more than 4,000 agents, but only five are selected to receive this award.
“We knew when Charlotte joined our team that she brought an impressive track record, so we expected her to hit the ground running” Alan Meltzer, CEO and Founder of The Meltzer Group, explained. “Charlotte’s knowledge of the insurance industry and ability to easily relate to clients is what sets her apart, and this award reflects her strong work ethic and attention to detail that we’ve seen from day one. This is a well-deserved recognition for her.”
Sawyer, who had been in the insurance field for over 13 years prior to joining The Meltzer Group, previously litigated complex insurance coverage issues in Louisiana and throughout the U.S. She also counseled insurance carriers in connection with disputes at the commercial and personal lines level. Sawyer’s background as an insurance coverage attorney provides her with a unique perspective in assisting individuals and businesses to obtain the proper type and amount of insurance coverage to help protect their business and personal assets.
